Registering a Business in Singapore

Company registration in Singapore is done by ACRA and the whole process is fully computerized. Typically, companies can be included within 1-2 days. To register a business, applicants must log in to their company registration profile by using their unique identification number and SingPAss. 1. Select your company name and address.

The registration fee is $ 315. If you pay the fee, your company will be set up within 15 minutes. For example, if your company plans to establish a school and you need to send an application for approval, the installation process can take anywhere from 14 days to two months.

Create a shareholder agreement
In addition to the Company Constitution, another important legal document required as part of the incorporation process is the shareholder agreement. A shareholder agreement is a document that refers to the rules and regulations governing how a company operates, and other aspects that shareholders, directors, and managers do not include, such as linking certain terms and conditions of a shareholder agreement company.

Post-registration: Documents to be issued
ACRA will issue several documents confirming the establishment of the company, including:

1. Certificate of Incorporation
ACRA will send you an official email notification to confirm your meeting. The e-mail notification will include your company registration number and will be considered as an official corporate establishment certificate in Singapore. A hard copy was not issued by default because the certificate of the establishment is not required in Singapore. If hardcopy is preferred, online requests for ACRA are available after the company is established. 2. Company Business Profile
A business profile with company details can be obtained from ACR by receiving an application and paying a nominal fee of S $ 16.50 from BizFile +.
Generally, documents (PDF files) can be downloaded within 1 hour of the request and include the following key details:

For all legal and contractual purposes of Singapore, the above two softcopy documents (e.g. establishment of company business profile and email notification) are sufficient.
